Shell's summary of Swansea:
Swansea is excellent. There's loads of cheap and cheesy places to go out. It has everything - including Swansea Bay right in the centre of the city. (you can't swim in the sea but its a great place to chill out and have BBQs etc) Also near the centre is the Marina, with loads of nicer, classier pubs. There's absolutely loads of Take Aways. Mumbles is just a couple of miles out of town with lots of nice pubs and the Mumbles Mile. (A mile of pubs!) Further out is the Gower with the most amazing beeches i've seen in Britain. There's crazy golf, a long promenade for running/cycling/rollerblading, its such a nice place to live. As for shopping, it was a good shopping centre when I lived there but i've heard its been updated since. Also since i've left an olympic size swimming pool has been built and loads of new pubs and clubs have sprung up.

Best Point:
The beeches, low cost of living, Mumbles.

Worst Point:
The view of Port Talbot from Swansea Bay and when I was looking for work after graduating there wasn't much about
